Role Overview: As a Dam & Water Resources Engineer at Jub.com, you will play a vital role in our Engineering & Design Department by applying your specialized knowledge to design, modify, and optimize dam and water resource systems. Your work will support sustainable water management and infrastructure resilience. What You'll Do: - You will design and analyze dam structures and water resource systems using advanced engineering software. - You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for water management challenges. - You will conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support project planning and execution. - You will prepare detailed engineering reports, technical specifications, and design documentation. - You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards in all projects. - You will participate in project meetings and communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Design Department. - You will support the integration of new technologies and methodologies in dam and water resource engineering. What You Bring: - A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in dam design, water resources engineering, or related disciplines. - Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and GIS tools. - Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and structural analysis. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification. - Experience with environmental impact assessments and regulatory compliance. - Familiarity with sustainable water management practices and climate resilience. - Advanced degree in Water Resources Engineering or related specialization.
