MRO Solution Architect (AF Depot Maintenance) Dayton, OH 45431 JTEC Consulting LLC focuses on successfully delivering solutions to meet our clients’ most critical needs. Our founding members have decades of experience delivering a wide range of solutions to Air Force and DOD clients. We are a Veteran-Owned Small Business. Security Requirement: Secret Clearance Location Note: Remote from U.S.-based location Travel: Required Position Description: JTEC Consulting is hiring a MRO Solution Architect with demonstrated experience working as an Air Force Depot Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support business analysis and solution architecture for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) systems. Qualified candidates will have expertise in Air Force supply chain operations, providing critical functional expertise to support the implementation, configuration, and sustainment of a MRO Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. Duties and responsibilities include (but may not be limited to): • Work as part of a collaborative team to bridge operational supply processes with system design, ensuring the ERP solution aligns with USAF policies, legacy system behaviors, and end‑to‑end mission requirements. • Apply specialized functional and technical expertise to guide project teams in delivering client solutions. • Provide subject matter expertise in related industry, process, or technology areas. • Work with key stakeholders to identify and understand their needs and concerns through brainstorming, focus groups, interviews, observation, and workshops. • Work with the Product Owner on requirements definition and analysis and the definition of solution scope. • Create requirements management deliverables such as Business Process Flows, Features, Acceptance Criteria, User Stories, Wireframes, and Requirements Traceability. • Participate in Product Backlog prioritization. • Verify and validate requirements and solution before and during demos. • Travel to USAF sites to meet program/customer requirements. Requirements include: • US citizenship; no dual citizenship • Current DoD security clearance at Secret level • Bachelor's degree; equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • 10+ years of related experience and technical expertise supporting airline maintenance systems, improving workflows, and driving continuous improvements in maintenance procedures including: • USAF or DoD ERP modernization efforts • Expertise with USAF depot maintenance systems and operations • Expertise with depot processes or enterprise logistics integration • Recognized for expertise with aviation systems • Experience with Agile development including: • Working with scrum team and supporting user story creation and backlog refinement • Verifying and validating requirements and solution before/during demos • Working with Product Owner to support requirements definition and analysis of solution scope • Creating requirements management deliverables such as business process flows, features, acceptance criteria, and related documentation • Experience working with stakeholders and key decision makers including: • Ability to assess customer needs and translate them into actionable business solutions • Ability to lead discussions, communicate effectively, and collaborate across teams • Effective written and verbal communication skills to successfully interact with a blended government and contractor team • Ability to support travel as required JTEC Consulting LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
