Our Receptionist / Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for department managers and staff. This is a fulltime, onsite position at our Nashville, TN corporate HQ; relocation assistance, and sponsorship are not available. Duties include but are not limited to: Visitor and Call Management Managing front desk reception area Welcome visitors, in person or on the telephone by answering promptly, courteously, and professionally, and direct all inquiries to appropriate team members. Deliver excellent customer service at all times. Operate and manage a multi-line telephone system for calls and resolve calls quickly and accurately. Administrative Support Receives and processes all mail and deliveries. Support department on enterprise-wide, and site-specific communication. Supply Management Offers departmental support with the standardization of supply procurement standard operating procedures, processes, and account management. Manage supplies for the catering closet, reception desk, coffee stations, copy rooms, and reception fridge; maintain inventory and place orders to replenish stock as needed. Light budgeting required. Partner with Facilities to standardize new hire and terminated colleague workstation supplies and inventory. Policy Implementation and Health & Safety Manage the implementation, audits, communication, and remediation of the office supply policy. Maintain the badge process for vendors/visitors/monitors. Work closely with Security and Health & Safety on escalating issues and conducting badge audits. Provide strategic support to EHS Analysts in the collection of critical data for reporting of department dashboards Volunteer and Security Coordination Coordinate volunteers for front desk coverage; train front desk volunteers as needed. Work closely with the security team to ensure all policies and procedures are followed. This includes processes for visitors, monitors, colleagues, clients, etc. Assist the regulatory department with checking monitors in and out; follow the protocols set by Regulatory team and Sarah Cannon Health and Safety. Understand askSarah; partner with the askSarah team for patient-related calls as appropriate. Qualifications for success include: High School Diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred 1+ years' work experience in a receptionist or administrative role required; advanced experience with Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint Exceptional organizational skills in addition to critical thinking skills to aid in identifying alternative solutions and approaches to diverse situations About Sarah Cannon Research Institute Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is one of the world’s leading oncology research organizations conducting community-based clinical trials.
