Orenstein Agency is seeking a polished, people-first Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of one of the top-performing State Farm agencies in the country. You’ll manage our phones and lobby experience, schedule appointments, route calls and messages, handle light administrative tasks (scanning, payments, ID cards), and keep our team organized and our clients delighted. We move fast, care deeply about customers, and operate with high standards. If you’re tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and love helping people, we’ll train you on our systems and set you up to win. Bilingual English/Spanish is required to better serve our community. Responsibilities Own the first impression: Greet visitors, answer and route calls quickly and warmly; capture accurate messages. Calendar & coordination: Schedule and confirm Insurance & Financial Reviews and other appointments; manage reminders and reschedules. Call flow excellence: Keep missed calls low; return voicemails promptly; complete warm transfers to sales/service. Customer support: Process payments, issue ID cards, share policy docs, and funnel service requests to the right teammate. Admin & organization: Scan/upload documents, manage incoming/outgoing mail, maintain a tidy lobby, and keep supplies stocked. CRM hygiene: Log every interaction with clear notes and next steps; follow up as needed. Reputation lift: Ask happy customers for Google reviews and send the review link via text/email. Team assist: Support service/sales with simple follow-ups, document requests, and status checks. Requirements . Bilingual English/Spanish required. Excellent phone etiquette, clear written/verbal communication, and professional presence. Fast, accurate multitasker with strong attention to detail; dependable and punctual. Comfortable with computers/CRMs, email, scanning; typing ~45+ WPM. Able to work on-site in Great Neck, NY, Monday–Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm. Growth Path: Reception → Service/Account Support → Licensed Roles (we’ll train & sponsor for licensing if you grow into it).
