Full Description

Job Summary We are a growing tree service company seeking an experienced professional to support commercial operations, contract execution, and business growth. This role is for someone who understands how commercial tree work operates end-to-end and can help scale the business -- not entry-level. Key Responsibilities • Review and manage commercial contracts, scopes of work, and compliance • Assist with bidding, pricing strategy and change orders • Coordinate crews, schedules, and job execution • Communicate with prime contractors, utilities, and municipalities • Support business growth through: - Identifying new commercial opportunities - Strengthening relationships with existing clients - Improving operational systems and processes - Ensure jobs are executed profitably, safely, and on schedule Requirements • Proven experience in commercial tree service, utility vegetation management, or similar • Strong understanding of contracts, scopes, and commercial requirements • Experience with traffic control, safety plans, and documentation • Ability to think beyond the job site, cost control, efficiency, and growth • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and make decisions Preferred Qualifications • Utility / telecom / municipal project experience • Bid preparation and contract negotiation exposure • Vendor or subcontractor management • CDL and/or ISA certification (plus, not required) • Bilingual English/Spanish (plus, not required) What We Offer • Competitive compensation and bonuses based on experience • Long-term growth opportunity with a scaling company • Direct involvement in shaping company operations and strategy • No corporate red tape -- results matter Who This Is Not For Entry-level climbers or ground crew How To Apply Apply with resume, relevant experience in commercial tree work and business operations Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $25.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Auburn Hills, MI
