Global Security is seeking a national security professional to join the Strategic Threats program in Washington, D.C. or Jersey City, NJ. Competitive candidates must be interested in supporting a proactive team that is focused on identifying and mitigating nation state threats to the firm. This opportunity requires significant critical thinking, creativity, complex problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with partners in all lines of business and corporate functions across the firm. As a Strategic Threats Program Manager within our Global Security Team, you will report to the Executive Director and play a key role in the Strategic Threats team. You’ll help implement programs to identify and assess strategic threats—including those from nation state actors—that could impact the firm’s data, workforce, or supply chain, and develop mitigation strategies to support informed business decisions. This high-visibility role involves collaborating with stakeholders across cyber, legal, and compliance, and delivering firm-wide solutions for threat detection and mitigation. You will provide dedicated support to all business lines and corporate functions, focusing on nation state threats and analytic risk assessments. Responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders, vetting external relationships, and supporting investigations, as well as working with emerging technology teams. Additionally, you’ll partner with a product manager to identify new product opportunities, write requirements, and track product metrics for the Strategic Threats team. Job Responsibilities Establish collaborative partnerships with global security, CTC (Cybersecurity and Technology Controls), and other partners to help identify and mitigate potential nation state-related threats to the firm across the firm. Provide dedicated strategic threats support to all lines of business and corporate functions. Develop and deliver education and awareness materials related to strategic threats to the firm. Use multiple databases and designated tools to conduct research on various threats facing the firm, particularly from nation state actors. Produce analysis on specific risks, threats and contribute to other strategic analysis products. Conduct research and analysis in support of nation state related investigations. Support the controls environment, data integrity, metrics, and trends analysis. Communicate complex strategic threat issues in a way that is understandable to a variety of audiences and present structured senior management program updates. Execute product delivery functions in support of the Strategic Threats team. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 8 years+ of relevant work experience in any combination of counterintelligence investigations, operations, analysis, and assessing complex threats from nation state actors and insider threats. Experience leveraging critical thinking skills to strategize and demonstrate “out of the box” thinking and creativity in order to solve complex problems and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise-wide risk/security initiatives. Experience conducting or supporting counterintelligence or insider threat related investigations. Experience in effectively understanding, analyzing, and communicating complex risks. Ability to handle a high level of pressure associated with complex projects in a demanding customer environment and ability to communicate those projects to all levels, including senior leadership. Strong communication, writing, and analysis skills, with a focus on attention to detail and producing concise analysis. Ability to leverage multiple data sets and tools to support complex research and analysis. Strong negotiation and influence skills with all levels of an organization as well as the ability to influence people who do not report to you in order to achieve results. Ability to create and deliver effective and compelling presentations using PowerPoint and conduct data analysis. Undergraduate degree.
