This role actively troubleshoots, diagnoses and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on production and facilities support equipment and systems. Industrial Maintenance Technician Position Summary: -Maintain, repair, disassemble and troubleshoot complex processes, high speed packaging machinery, and other manufacturing equipment. -Perform preventive maintenance activities on production, processing and plant equipment and systems. -Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. -Read and interpret blueprints, process and instrumentation diagrams, flow diagrams, and machinery manuals to diagnose problems, identify components, and verify proper equipment operation. -Assist in plant projects, upgrades, and calibrations. -Provide solutions to issues or opportunities that contribute to the operation in the areas of Quality, Safety and Productivity. -Complete work orders associated with assigned equipment. -Install new equipment as necessary. -Modify and upgrade manufacturing equipment as required. Qualifications Summary: -Two+ years experience as a mechanic in an industrial plant or manufacturing facility desired. -Troubleshooting experience and repair knowledge of electrical controls, circuits and systems. -Troubleshooting skills and repair techniques of mechanical and pneumatic components and systems. -Experience operating high pressure steam boilers, HVAC experience and/or knowledge of pumps / motors. -PLC programming functions and troubleshooting a plus.
