Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Sonographer specializing in 3D/4D imaging to join our healthcare team. In addition to performing advanced ultrasound procedures, the ideal candidate will also serve as an Office Assistant, providing administrative support in a bilingual (Spanish-English) environment. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency with office management tools, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining smooth office operations. This is a small medical office in a small town, with very amiable office environment and pleasant patients. Includes 4 weeks paid vacation per year plus paid additional holidays off. Responsibilities • Perform high-quality 3D/4D ultrasound imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail. • Assist patients throughout the imaging process, ensuring comfort and understanding in both English and Spanish. • Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and follow-up communications using electronic health records and office software. • Handle front desk duties including greeting patients, managing multi-line phone systems, and providing excellent customer service. • Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and documentation of medical images and patient information. • Utilize office management software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant tools for administrative tasks. • Support office operations through calendar management, phone etiquette, proofreading documents, and organizing files. • Responsible for billing, dealing with Insurance companies, getting prior authorizations, bookkeeping, and other clerical tasks as needed to ensure efficient workflow. • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations regarding patient privacy and data security. Skills • Proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques for 3D/4D sonography. • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English for effective communication with diverse patients. • Strong office management skills including calendar management, data entry, filing, and document proofreading. • Excellent computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and electronic health records systems. • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Effective phone etiquette skills; experience managing multi-line phone systems and providing superior customer support. • Clerical experience including administrative support roles such as medical receptionist or personal assistant. • Basic arithmetic skills for billing and bookkeeping tasks. • Knowledge of medical terminology related to sonography is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
