Job Description: Senior Software Engineer Summary Versatile Software Engineer with extensive experience building distributed systems and cloud-native applications. Specialized in designing scalable backend services, modern frontend solutions, and real-time data pipelines. Proven track record of taking projects from architecture through deployment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices in Python and Node.js/TypeScript using AWS Lambda, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, S3, QuickSight, and Athena. • Implement REST APIs to enable high-performance, secure integrations with internal and external systems. • Build and maintain frontend features using modern component libraries such as React. • Design and optimize data pipelines leveraging Kafka/MSK, Airflow, and cloud data lakes for real-time and batch processing. • Collaborate with QA, Product, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent production issues. • Write unit and integration tests, enforce coding standards, and refactor code to follow DRY and scalable architecture principles. • Mentor junior developers on engineering best practices, cloud computing, and microservice design. • Peer review commits and pull requests, ensuring code quality and adherence to architecture standards. • Document systems, workflows, and technical designs in Confluence for organizational knowledge sharing. • Contribute to scaling initiatives by building ledger-driven financial workflows, transaction monitoring systems, and automated reporting pipelines. • Experience working in Agile development environments, including Scrum or Kanban, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver iterative, highquality software.
