We are hiring for BW Architect to support our client Company Name: - JTSi (Johnson Technology Systems, Inc.) Title: BW Architect Position Location: Remote Citizenship: US Person BW Architect: Skills needed to lead remote BW4HANA upgrade project • **Need to be a and should be able to obtain CAC. If an active Secret clearance, even better • **The PoP is 9/30/2025 - 9/29/2026 and total hours are 1596. Pre-upgrade Assessments: • Knowledge of system and upgrade scope assessments. How to evaluate readiness checks and identify risks. • Ability to assess EA2 s unique ecosystem, with PV1 HANA acting as the data backbone servicing BusinessObjects, Data Services, SAS Viya, Qlik, CDSW, Analysis for Office, MS Access, and other ODBC external requests. Assess inbound and outbound interfaces. • Strong experience with S/4 HANA and ODP data sources. Need to assess S/4 cutover in February 2026 and impacts to in-flight BW4HANA conversions • Ability to work with Sustainment team to design a process to account for conversion of ongoing development in legacy BW environment. Stand up new architecture: Ability to work with Basis, DMIS, and Security admins to ensure software is installed on remote system, all connectivity established, DMIS configured for objects and data conversions, and users/roles migrated. Conversion methodologies: • Deep understanding of the specific processes and requirements for a remote conversion, including the use of the BW/4HANA Conversion Cockpit and the Transfer Toolbox. • Ability to work with Sustainment team to define scope of remote conversions to avoid converting obsolete objects in legacy BW. • Ability to manage and troubleshoot the migration of classic objects to BW4HANA compliant objects. Legacy BW knowledge: • Comprehensive knowledge of legacy BW objects (e.g., InfoCubes, MultiProviders) and the ability to convert them into their HANA-optimized counterparts (e.g., ADSOs, CompositeProviders). Development skills: • Very Strong BW modelling skills • Very strong ABAP skills. Strong ability to remediate code issues. Understand how BW routines referencing classic DSOs will continue to function after conversion to ADSOs. • Very strong BW process chain skills • Very strong BW source system extraction skills, including strong knowledge of SAP sources such as ECC, SRM, IBP, and non-SAP flat file sources such as Blue Yonder • Strong skills developing and supporting HANA Calculation Views, as these need to be migrated to remote environment • Strong skills developing in BusinessObjects and Data Services, as these need to be modified for remote environment • Strong Analysis for Office skills • Good experience with inbound and outbound file interfaces, OpenHub Destination objects If you are available, interested, planning to make a change, or know of a friend who might have the required qualifications and interest, please call me ASAP on / If you do respond via e-mail ( ) please include a daytime phone number so I can reach you.
