Johnson Service Group is seeking an HRPB/Sr. Generalist for a 6-month contract position that can become full-time based on performance. This position is 100% on-site at the clients facility in the Fremont. CA area. Are you ready to build the backbone of the digital future? Payrate $40-$45 per hour based on experience This position is a strategic, high-impact role, typically focusing on driving employee engagement, managing employee relations in a fast-paced, often manufacturing-based, technological environment. They act as a trusted advisor to leaders, partnering with them to align HR practices with business goals, while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Key Responsibilities • Employee Relations: Conduct complex investigations, manage performance improvement plans, and handle employee grievances, especially within manufacturing operations. • Strategic HR Partnership: Partner with leaders to design team structures, talent plans, and performance management processes that support high-growth, technical environments. • Compliance & Policy: Ensure compliance with employment laws (e.g., ADA, FMLA, EEO) and update company policies. • Talent Management & Engagement: Develop and execute initiatives to drive employee retention and engagement. • HR Generalist Duties: Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and supporting HR systems (HRIS). Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business. • 5+ years of experience as an HRBP or Generalist in a fast-paced environment. • Strong knowledge of labor laws and experience with employee relations. • Ability to work in a matrixed organization and drive change. • Workday/HRIS experience and good with Microsoft office (word, PPT, Excel) skills.
