Join Our Team as a Sales Director - North America at Johnson Electric! Location: Plymouth, MI, US (onsite) Vacancy Type: Existing position Schedule: Full‑time Travel: ~50% business travel (domestic & international) As our next Sales Director (NA), you’ll be at the forefront of key account management, new business development, new customer acquisition, and marketing activities across the Americas region. Your expertise in automotive Tier‑1 sales, customer management, and cross‑functional project execution will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. What You’ll Be Doing: • Developing and executing sales strategies and plans via internal collaboration and customer relationship management for the NA region • Managing relationships with customers and obtaining information on their market trends, value points, and satisfaction of JE products and services in NA. • Managing and interacting regularly with internal resources to design, quote and supply custom products or systems. • Leading negotiations with customers on current and future product pricing • Leading process to resolve customer commercial claims and submitting claims to customers when necessary • Managing the NA Sales team • Developing and managing regional sales budget • Ensuring uncompromised customer relations What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent sales and technical experience. • 10 years of experience in business development within an automotive Tier‑1 supplier; OEM customer experience preferred. • Strong understanding of sales principles and excellent customer‑experience mindset. • Proven capabilities in marketing, negotiation, prioritization, project management, and time management. • Ability to technically investigate, derive conclusions from observations/data collection and analytically approach problem cause phenomena. • Strong in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote. Bonus Points If You Have: • Experience supporting customer quality audits or technical program launches. • Experience using workflow or project‑management tools (e.g., JE‑PDS). • Background in driveline products or automotive systems.
