On-the-job/cross-training opportunities Encouraging and collaborative team environment Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy What you will do: The Inside Sales Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Outside Sales team by managing quotes for large projects that qualify for opportunity tracking. This role also focuses on developing and growing sales with underperforming or new distribution partners. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and customer-focused, with a strong ability to identify growth opportunities and drive engagement. How you will do it: ·Sales Support & Quoting Prepare and manage quotes for large-scale projects (>$25k) in collaboration with Outside Sales. Ensure timely and accurate opportunity tracking for all opportunities within their territory. Maintain detailed GPCRM logs of quote activity and follow-up actions. ·Customer Development Proactively engage with customers who either: Have been distribution partners for less than one year. Had negative year-over-year (YOY) sales in the last fiscal year. Generated less than $10,000 in sales over the past 12 months. Have been categorized as orphan accounts. Qualify as OEM, Government, or Key Accounts. Identify customer needs and tailor solutions to increase engagement and sales. Develop and execute outreach strategies to re-engage dormant or low-performing accounts. ·Sales Growth & Performance Monitoring Track and analyze sales performance of assigned accounts. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to implement targeted campaigns. Provide regular updates and insights to management on account progress and opportunities. ·Relationship Management Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to foster loyalty and trust. Serve as a key primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Coordinate with Outside Sales to align strategies and share account intelligence on activities, account growth, and opportunities. ·Reporting & CRM Management Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunity status. Generate reports on account performance, quoting activity, and sales trends. Use data to identify patterns and recommend strategic actions. ·Market Development Own lead management for assigned territory and act as first contact for any leads from marketing campaigns, initiatives, tradeshows, or digital traffic. Assist in conducting market research to identify new business opportunities. Support the analysis of competitive landscapes and emerging trends. Help build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through outreach and campaigns. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to refine lead qualification criteria. Monitor industry developments and customer behavior to inform strategy. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings. What we look for: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 2+ years of experience in sales, customer development, or sales support. 2+ years of experience in sales, design, or ITM (inspection, testing, maintenance) in water-based fire systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60,000 -81,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
