Full Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Quincy, MA that is seeking a SD-WAN Architect. We are looking for someone who has led 400-1,000+ site deployments and can provide the technical leadership, design authority, and standards governance needed to stabilize and complete the enterprise SD-WAN rollout. Summary: The SD-WAN Architect will lead the design, governance, and rollout of Fortinet SD-WAN across 1,000+ U.S. locations. This includes architecting complex WAN topologies, solving route-limit issues across carriers and Azure, and driving standards that bring consistency to a distributed environment. The Architect will provide technical leadership to Fortinet engineers, guide testing and validation efforts, and ensure the SD-WAN platform delivers reliability, performance, and scalability for retail operations. This is a senior, CCIE-tier architecture role requiring deep technical mastery and the ability to command credibility within a skilled engineering organization. REQUIREMENTS: • CCIE certification (Routing & Switching or Enterprise Infrastructure) • Extensive experience architecting large-scale SD-WAN deployments (400-1,000+ sites) • Deep Fortinet SD-WAN design, testing, and optimization experience • Strong routing background (BGP, OSPF) and hybrid WAN/cloud architectures (Azure preferred) • Ability to solve route-limit, path-selection, and multi-provider integration issues • Comfortable leading engineering teams and establishing architectural standards • Strong service delivery methodology and testing/validation discipline • Experience in highly distributed, multi-site environments (retail, logistics, healthcare, etc.) The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions. Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
