Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Workforce Solutions Location: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid/On-site) Industry Focus: MSP, VMS, and Staffing Solutions Direct Hire / Full Time About The Role We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Development Representative with a pedigree in big tech (Google, Apple, Salesforce, Oracle) and a strong command of the Staffing and Vendor Management landscape. You understand the difference between a Corp-to-Corp engagement and a Full-Time placement. You know how hiring managers think, and you are comfortable navigating the complexities of MSP (Managed Service Provider) and VMS (Vendor Management System) programs. Based in Pleasanton, you will leverage your hybrid background in enterprise technology and staffing to engage top-tier clients and candidates. Key Responsibilities Multi-Channel Outbound Prospecting: Execute high-volume cold calls, email campaigns, and social outreach (LinkedIn) targeting hiring managers, procurement leaders, and IT directors. Penetrate enterprise accounts by navigating MSP/VMS programs to find direct hiring needs. Strategic Account Penetration: Utilize experience from major tech firms to bypass gatekeepers and engage decision-makers regarding their contingent labor needs. Identify opportunities for Contract-to-Hire, Corp-to-Corp, and Direct Placement roles. Independent Research: Conduct deep-dive research into target companies to understand their vendor management structures and existing staffing partnerships. Map out organizational charts to identify key stakeholders in procurement and IT. Pipeline Generation: Schedule qualified meetings for the Account Executive team with prospects looking for staffing solutions or workforce management technology. Maintain a robust pipeline of leads within the Pleasanton/SF Bay Area market. CRM and Tech Stack Management: Maintain meticulous records in Salesforce, tracking every touchpoint, lead source, and prospect detail. Utilize sales engagement tools to automate and optimize outreach sequences. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or Inside Sales role. Must have prior experience working at a major technology firm (Google, Apple, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.). Must have exposure to the Staffing Industry, including knowledge of MSP programs, VMS tools (Beeline, Fieldglass, etc.), and compliance requirements (Corp-to-Corp, W2, 1099). Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the differences between Full-Time , Contract-to-Hire , and Corp-to-Corp engagements. Familiarity with how Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and Managed Service Providers (MSP) operate within enterprise clients. Skills: Salesforce proficiency is mandatory. Exceptional cold-calling and objection-handling skills. Strong written communication for personalized email outreach. Local Presence: Based in or near Pleasanton, CA, with a strong network in the local tech and staffing community.
