They are seeking a Systems Analyst II to ensure the successful execution of production jobs and enhance mainframe logic to prevent job failures. The role involves working on claim file loading, membership reconciliations, and contributing to IT operations efficiency. Responsibilities • Ensure the successful execution of production jobs • Resolve defects • Develop or enhance mainframe logic to prevent job failures • Working on claim file loading • Membership reconciliations • Corrections • Contribute to other core processes, such as reporting and benefit functions • Enhancing the overall efficiency of our IT operations Skills • Employee must have strong mainframe (COBOL) skills • Ability to test packages on the mainframe, promote packages using change management. • SQL database query, troubleshooting, and reporting. • Experience with system development and project lifecycle processes • Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business friendly language. • Bachelors degree in computer science or 10+ years experience. • JAVA/Java batch to support more dental benefit related work to assist Joe and Ankur. • Server app: Java (REST/Spring Boot/Hibernate) • Web app: Angular (nodejs / typescript) Company Overview • Welcome to Jobs via Dice, the go-to destination for discovering the tech jobs you want.
