Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. First Citizens Bank is seeking a Product Owner III for their Enterprise Digital Solutions product management team, primarily focused on enhancing digital onboarding solutions for various business lines. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless client lifecycle experience, ensuring products meet client needs and align with the bank's strategic objectives. Responsibilities • Contribute to prioritizing the backlog, collaborating with the Agile team to pull in ready stories as applicable. • Collaborate with the UI/UX team to translate business needs into the client and associate facing applications. • Write detailed user stories with clear business requirements that align with high-level epic objectives. • Facilitate refinement sessions with cross-functional partners to ensure stories are well-understood and actionable. • Revise stories based on input from client partners, research findings, or evolving business needs. • Update stories based on technical requirements. • Incorporate Developer feedback into story updates to ensure alignment with technical solutions. • Ensure the product meets readiness criteria before release through validation & stakeholder coordination. • Contribute to defining and evolving the product vision & roadmap. • Leverage user feedback, business metrics, and analytics to inform priorities and assess progress, risks, & delivery timelines. • Identify and implement process improvements through retrospectives to enhance product development efficiency and quality. • Lead triage for all production issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal business impact. • Assess and prioritize incidents based on severity, urgency, and client impact and coordinate with Operations, IT, and stakeholders to expedite resolution. Skills • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Product Management, Scrum, Agile OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Product Management, Scrum, Agile • 6+ years of experience • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and vendors. • Experience supporting digital onboarding or digital banking applications. • Experience configuring or administering SaaS software applications. • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. • Strong problem-solving skills & ability to identify challenges and devise effective solutions. • Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA and Confluence). • User-centric thinking; understanding user needs and translating them into product requirements. • Understanding of IDV/KYC regulations and requirements needed for compliant onboarding.
