Provide first- and second-level technical support and maintenance for POS systems and peripherals in retail or hospitality environments, including deployment, training, and compliance.
Experience supporting POS hardware/software, troubleshooting peripherals, deploying systems, collaborating with IT teams, and ensuring PCI-DSS compliance.
Title POS Support Analyst Location Remote Type Contract Key Responsibilities: • Provide first- and second-level technical support for POS hardware and software across retail or hospitality environments. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to POS terminals, peripherals (printers, scanners, card readers), and connectivity. • Configure and deploy POS systems for new store openings or system upgrades. • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues. • Assist with POS software installations, updates, and patch management. • Train store personnel and other end-users on POS functionalities and procedures. • Maintain documentation for support processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides. • Monitor POS system performance and ensure high availability. • Participate in system testing, data migration, and rollout activities. • Ensure compliance with data security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS) in POS operations.
