This role will involve developing, enhancing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support toll system monitoring, operational efficiency, and executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI, data analytics, tolling or transportation systems, and a passion for leveraging data to improve operational performance and reliability. Job Title: Decision Support Specialist (Power BI & Tolling Systems) Location: Ocoee, FL (On-site) Duration: 5 Months + 1 Year Extension Job Description The Decision Support Specialist (Power BI & Tolling Systems) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that support toll operations, system monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. As a Decision Support Specialist (Power BI & Tolling Systems), you will analyze toll system performance, identify operational trends, and support troubleshooting efforts to ensure peak system efficiency. This Decision Support Specialist (Power BI & Tolling Systems) role involves close collaboration with internal technical teams, operational stakeholders, and vendors to replace legacy reports, streamline reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights. The Decision Support Specialist (Power BI & Tolling Systems) will also play a key role in monitoring new and upgraded toll lanes and supporting operational readiness. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for toll operations and performance monitoring (3+ years) • Collaborate with database experts, monitoring managers, and business analysts to integrate data sources and ensure data integrity (3+ years) • Perform daily and weekly analysis of lane performance metrics and operational dashboards (2+ years) • Conduct hyper-care monitoring for new and upgraded toll lanes during stabilization periods (2+ years) • Perform basic lane and plaza fault isolation, advanced fault isolation, and third-level support for roadside servers, databases, and tolling software (2+ years) • Analyze anomalies reported by Operations, Finance, and Maintenance teams; conduct root cause analysis, impact assessments, and prepare executive-level summaries (3+ years) • Support new lane system installations and system upgrades, including validation and monitoring activities (2+ years) • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for monitoring transitions and operational handoffs (2+ years) • Coordinate with internal vendors to ensure timely resolution of high-priority incidents and escalate critical issues when required (2+ years) • Identify gaps in existing processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and accuracy (2+ years) Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Reporting, with strong hands-on expertise in Power BI • 3+ years of experience in: • Power BI report development • DAX calculations • Power Query • Data modeling and performance optimization • 2+ years of experience working with operational or transactional systems, preferably tolling or transportation systems • 2+ years of experience with toll lane theory of operation and basic system troubleshooting • 2+ years of experience using Linux commands and supporting server-based environments • 2+ years of experience writing basic to intermediate SQL queries • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, VBA, Pivot Tables), Word, and PowerPoint • 1 2 years of experience with network and system monitoring tools (e.g., CA Unicenter, Orion) • Strong analytical skills with proven ability in trend analysis, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis Education • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Why Join Us? • Trilyon, Inc., offers a comprehensive benefits package • Opportunities for growth and professional development • Collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven company culture Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement Trilyon, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
