About our client At Outmarket, they are changing how commercial insurance works by making data useful—instantly. Their AI-powered platform helps brokers, MGAs, and carriers extract structured insights from PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, portals, and more. They don’t just ingest data—they operationalize it. They are looking for a Product Lead for Data to own the most critical part of their platform: the pipeline that transforms unstructured, fragmented information into clean, actionable intelligence. For candidates who have built data products before and want to lead the team that is rewriting the rules of data ingestion, this role is a strong fit. Why This Role Is a Big Deal • You’ll work directly with the Co-founder & CEO (ex-Uber, Meta, Ethos), and the Co-Founder & CTO (ex-Meta, Ethos, early IBM Watson AI team) • You’ll define the product that turns insurance chaos into clarity • You’ll collaborate with a world-class engineering team from Meta, Uber, IBM, and Adobe • You’ll lead the roadmap for how Outmarket connects with websites, portals, PDFs, Excel, and third-party APIs—at scale • You’ll help create a category-defining system of intelligence that the industry has never seen before What You’ll Do • Own the roadmap for our data ingestion, enrichment, and pipeline products • Define how we capture data across formats: PDFs, portals, APIs, spreadsheets, emails • Partner with AI and engineering to design scalable workflows for cleaning, validating, and mapping incoming data • Drive integration strategy with carriers, rating engines, AMS, and submission portals • Work closely with customer-facing teams to understand pain points and unblock usage • Prioritize ruthlessly, test rapidly, and ship improvements weekly What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in data platforms, ingestion pipelines, or B2B SaaS • Strong understanding of ETL, APIs, OCR, structured/unstructured data challenges • Track record of building data infrastructure products or platform-level features • Ability to translate messy business needs into clear product requirements and workflows • Hands-on enough to prototype, test, and QA with engineers and customers • Relentless prioritizer who thrives in fast-paced environments Bonus If You Have • Experience in insurance tech, fintech, or enterprise data platforms • Familiarity with data mapping, entity resolution, enrichment models, or schema design • Exposure to AI-assisted data extraction or LLM-driven document processing What You’ll Get • Lead the most critical product function in a company solving a $1T problem • Competitive salary and early equity • Full ownership of the product roadmap for data • A no-politics, all-in team with strong customer pull and fast feedback loops • Remote-first culture, rapid iteration, and direct access to leadership • Benefits: Great gear, equity plan, team retreat, modern tools, flex schedule, unlimited PTO and growth budget • Salary: $160-180k/year
