Job Details Responsibilities: • Develop comprehensive, detailed project plans and estimates for electrical work in commercial and marina construction projects. • Prepare and submit competitive bids, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for and accurately priced. • Manage relationships with suppliers, including negotiating pricing, coordinating deliveries, and resolving any issues that arise. • Track project costs, ensuring that expenses are recorded accurately and stay within budget. • Utilize Procore Construction Software to manage projects, track progress, and communicate with team members. • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that electrical work is completed on time and to specifications. • Review and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate estimating and project execution. • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to electrical work in the construction industry. Qualifications: • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, particularly in electrical work. • Proven experience in bid preparation and supplier management. • Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices. • Proficiency in using Procore Construction Software or similar project management software. • Knowledge of marina and commercial electrical systems. • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. • Certification as a Professional Estimator or similar is an advantage.
