This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of attorneys and legal professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the patent prosecution process and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This is a full time remote role. Candidates must reside in Texas to be considered. Responsibilities: 1. Maintain and manage the IP docketing database, including reviewing and extracting information from incoming communications. 2. Track and monitor intellectual property matter deadlines, ensuring compliance with PTO rules and client-specific guidelines. 3. Verify and docket filings and other patent prosecution processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 4. Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure dockets are up-to-date and accurate. 5. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills. 6. Proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical, or spelling errors. 7. Establish and maintain docketing systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate. Qualifications: 1. 5+ years of patent prosecution experience is required, preferably within a law firm environment. 2. Advanced written and verbal communication skills are essential. 3. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical, or spelling errors. 4. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively. 5. Solid understanding of PTO rules and client-specific guidelines. 6. Experience maintaining and managing IP docketing databases. 7. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain docketing systems. 8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals. 9. Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
