As the lead of a small development team, you will continue to build out our gaming platform, including its VR headset software, game store, mobile app, and user interfaces for players and game developers. You’re technically strong and “hands on.” You like to code and you’re comfortable navigating the fast-paced, fast-changing environment of a growing startup. You’ll report directly to the CEO. This is a rare opportunity to play a vital role at a fast-growing startup. We’re breaking new ground in home entertainment, merging gaming with fitness and getting our players in shape while playing video games. Responsibilities: • Maintain existing code and continue to develop new features and functionality. • Direct the work of team members, providing effective leadership, performance feedback, and skills development. • Establish a product vision and roadmap to help guide the future direction of our products. Requirements: • 10+ years of software development experience • Proficiency with a wide range of technologies, including Android, .NET, React, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS • Familiarity with a wide range of languages, including Kotlin, Java, C#, C++, TypeScript • AWS cloud architecture experience and/or certification required • Knowledge of modern DevSecOps processes, tools, and mindsets in a cloud environment (Jenkins) • Game industry experience or affinity to gaming is a plus (but not essential) • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Interested in hearing more?
