This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading construction company, where you will be responsible for managing a wide variety of industrial construction projects from inception to completion. You will be working closely with a team of professionals and have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, technical expertise, and project management capabilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities • Lead and manage industrial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. • Develop comprehensive project plans, including cost estimates, schedules, and resource allocation plans. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met. • Manage contracts and negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. • Ensure all construction activities comply with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies. • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines or budgets. • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly. • Foster a positive and safe work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff. • Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to project specifications. • Continuously monitor and review project performance, implementing changes where necessary to improve efficiency or effectiveness. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial construction project management. • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry trends. • Proficient in project management software and tools. • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. • Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively, with a strong focus on cost control. • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry, with a commitment to promoting a safe work environment. • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) would be an advantage.
