Why join us? • Competitive compensation + equity and bonus • Medical, dental, and vision coverage heavily subsidized by the company • Open Paid Time Off • Paid family and medical leave • Generous paid holidays • 401(k) retirement savings plan Job Details Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment. • Develop and implement strategies for continuous integration and deployment, and for the automation of tech services processes. • Collaborate with other teams to integrate new technologies and services into our existing system. • Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our tech services. • Monitor and analyze system performance, and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance and ensure system stability. • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate new technologies as appropriate. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on cloud-based services and solutions. • 2+ years in a leadership position • Strong knowledge of backend or infrastructure work (Javascript, Python, Node, Go, or similar) • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS), CI/CD, monitoring, and automation • Experience running and scaling production services (APIs, data pipelines, messaging systems, etc.) • Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex software issues. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders. • Experience with continuous integration and deployment strategies (AWS CDK). • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. • Ability to stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends, and to incorporate new technologies into existing systems. • AWS certification is a plus. • Have experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or service mesh architectures is a plus • Have a background in incident management and SRE best practices is a plus • Experience in healthtech with a focus on patient journey software is a plus Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
