This organization provides full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and piping services across commercial, industrial, and residential projects, and safety is central to its mission of delivering reliable, efficient, and community-first solutions. The Corporate Safety Officer will design and execute a scalable safety program, develop and mentor field safety professionals, and drive measurable performance across multiple states. Key Responsibilities • Lead and own the corporate safety function from strategy to execution. • Build a pragmatic safety program that reinforces field operations and business goals. • Manage and grow a team of full-time safety professionals in the field (Indiana, Michigan, Ohio). • Establish meaningful safety metrics, reporting structures, and performance dashboards. • Serve as the organization’s OSHA expert, ensuring compliance and actionable guidance across locations. • Conduct site visits to coach teams, assess risks, and reinforce standards. • Partner with operations and business leaders to integrate safety into daily work, not as an afterthought. Required Experience • Proven safety leadership experience in construction, mechanical services, or related field-based environments. • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations with the ability to translate them into field execution. • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams at scale. • Strong analytical capabilities with a bias for actionable metrics. • Comfortable with regular travel to field locations.
