The organization operates in a highly regulated environment and is building out its accounting and finance infrastructure to support growth, accuracy, and operational rigor. The Opportunity The company is seeking an Accounting Operations professional to support core accounting functions and play a meaningful role across monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys operational ownership and thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. You will work closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure strong controls, clean closes, and scalable processes. Key Responsibilities Own and support Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment execution Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Support expense reporting and corporate credit card programs Maintain accurate documentation and internal controls in a regulated environment Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, procurement, and operations teams Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and systems as the organization scales Ideal Background 3–7+ years of accounting experience, ideally within biotech, life sciences, pharma, or other regulated industries Strong hands-on experience with Accounts Payable Accruals Month-end / quarter-end / year-end close Experience Supporting a High-growth Or Pre-commercial Organization Strongly Preferred ERP exposure (NetSuite or similar preferred) Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in lean environments CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus, but not required Why This Role Join a late-stage biotech at a pivotal growth moment Remote flexibility with real ownership and visibility Exposure to the full accounting lifecycle Opportunity to help build scalable accounting processes — not just maintain them Interested in hearing more?
