Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Work Vista is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead and scale a large-scale AI model and software evaluation framework. This role involves ensuring safe and reliable deployment of AI systems and leading a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver mission-critical evaluation software. Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering mission-critical evaluation software • Own large-scale data analysis workflows that detect unintended impacts from ML and software changes • Drive innovation in data warehousing, large-scale orchestration, and analysis frameworks • Build high-quality datasets to improve model training, validation, and edge-case coverage • Apply rigorous statistical methods to analyze model performance, generalization, and regressions • Provide strong technical leadership while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement • Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables to ensure reliable execution Skills • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field • Proven experience leading a small, high-impact engineering team serving a large internal user base • Strong background in machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis • Hands-on experience designing and deploying large-scale cloud platforms • Strong programming expertise in Python • Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data processing • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills • PhD in Computer Science or a related field • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Prior exposure to AI systems in autonomous driving, robotics, or safety-critical domains • Publications or open contributions in AI / ML research or tooling Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • Retirement plans • Paid time off • Additional perks in line with applicable regulations Company Overview • JobLift Media is a performance-driven recruitment-marketing studio helping companies amplify their talent reach through creative media, precision targeting, and employer-brand storytelling.
