This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP, Supply Chain in Virginia. This role is responsible for leading and scaling end-to-end supply chain operations, including logistics, fulfillment, planning, procurement, and manufacturing partnerships. The VP will drive operational strategy, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This position requires overseeing a high-performing team, setting and monitoring KPIs, and collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Regulatory, Quality, and Product Development teams. The ideal candidate combines hands-on operational expertise, strategic vision, and strong leadership skills. This executive will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth, controlling costs, and building a world-class, mission-driven supply chain organization. Accountabilities • Oversee and guide day-to-day supply chain operations across Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Fulfillment, and Manufacturing. • Develop and execute strategies to scale supply chain capacity, systems, and capabilities to meet business growth targets. • Define, monitor, and report on KPIs related to operational performance, COGS, and logistics expenses. • Support commercialization of new products and product renovations, ensuring smooth supply chain integration. • Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Safety, and Manufacturing teams to maintain compliance with FDA, OSHA, cGMP, and other industry standards. • Build, mentor, and expand a high-performing supply chain leadership team, fostering accountability and operational excellence. • Partner with Finance to develop Annual Operating Plans, multi-year strategic plans, and re-forecast financial projections as needed. • Implement best-in-class food safety and quality programs to proactively manage operational risk. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading supply chain, operations, or similar functions, with people management experience. • Expertise in warehousing, transportation, 3PL management, and supply chain systems. • Experience in regulated industries such as infant formula, food, or beverages. • Knowledge of both Retail and E-Commerce product management. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. • Proficiency in ERP systems, planning tools, BI/reporting tools, and collaboration platforms. • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams. • Alignment with core values emphasizing boldness, learning, attention to detail, and inclusive collaboration.
