This high-impact leadership role oversees the day-to-day operations and growth of a key program dedicated to improving care delivery for underserved communities. You will manage a large, multi-disciplinary team, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities while scaling services efficiently. The VP, Operations will collaborate across clinical, product, finance, and growth functions to optimize workflows, implement performance metrics, and lead change management initiatives. This position provides the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, shape operational practices, and deliver measurable outcomes that directly improve patient care. The role is fully remote, with the flexibility to support a California-based team. Accountabilities: · Oversee daily operations of a large-scale care program, ensuring delivery targets and patient outcomes are consistently achieved. · Lead, grow, and scale a multi-disciplinary team, including case managers, nurses, and behavioral health providers. · Manage the P&L for the service line, including unit economics, resource allocation, and operational budgets. · Design and optimize workflows, staffing models, and processes to balance scalability, efficiency, and patient experience. · Partner with cross-functional teams in product, clinical, finance, and growth to operationalize new initiatives. · Introduce and monitor performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement. · Lead organizational change initiatives, including KPI rollouts, team restructuring, and operational improvements. · 8+ years of experience in operations, including 5+ years leading large field-based teams. · Demonstrated experience managing P&L and unit economics. · Expertise in driving key performance metrics, building high-performing teams, and leading change management. · Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive results for mission, business, and customer experience. · Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams. · Ability to translate operational needs into actionable product requirements and oversee execution. · Comfortable working in fast-paced, early-stage environments with minimal bureaucracy and a hands-on approach. · Passion for serving individuals with complex chronic needs, including homelessness, mental health, and substance use challenges. · Bonus: experience in healthcare operations, scaling field-based care, implementing performance frameworks, and coaching managers. · Competitive salary: $215,000 - $230,000 USD. · Equity compensation package. · Flexible vacation policy. · Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. · 401(k) plan. · 100% company-sponsored short- and long-term disability and life insurance. · Subsidized backup childcare and caregiver support. · Fully remote work environment with equipment and monthly stipend provided. · Rapid career progression and personal growth opportunities.
