This executive role offers the opportunity to lead technology strategy and engineering initiatives across a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on healthcare IT solutions. The Vice President of Technology will oversee both client-facing and corporate IT functions, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and compliance across software and cloud-based systems. You will collaborate with leadership, business development, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions, optimize internal IT operations, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. The position combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight, emphasizing cloud technologies, enterprise software architecture, and cross-functional team management. This role directly impacts the organization’s ability to provide secure, high-quality IT solutions for government healthcare programs. Accountabilities · Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative technical solutions for government healthcare programs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. · Act as the technical authority for software development best practices, architecture, testing, and infrastructure decisions. · Oversee corporate IT functions, including cybersecurity compliance, certifications (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO), and internal IT operations. · Partner with business development and strategy teams to define and deliver technology solutions for new opportunities, proposals, and major programs. · Manage and mentor technical teams, fostering innovation, accountability, and professional growth. · Develop metrics and processes to track technology implementation effectiveness, system performance, and alignment with organizational goals. · Stay abreast of emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation across solutions and corporate systems. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred. · Minimum of 10 years’ experience in technical leadership roles and complex, mission-critical software systems. · Demonstrated experience leading large-scale proposals, captures, and technical solutions for DoD, VA, or HHS healthcare programs. · Expertise with cloud technologies, specifically Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure environments. · Proven ability to communicate effectively with leadership, cross-functional teams, and clients. · Strong knowledge of software development, engineering best practices, and enterprise architecture. · Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and managing corporate technology operations. · Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust – Medium Background Investigation (MBI). · Preferred: prior experience in similarly sized organizations ($50M+ revenue, ~100 employees) and recognized expertise in full-stack development and technical solutioning. · Competitive annual salary range of $160,000 – $200,000. · 100% remote work with full flexibility in a work-from-home environment. · Opportunities to lead innovative IT and software engineering projects in healthcare. · Exposure to executive leadership and strategic planning initiatives. · Professional growth and development in a mission-driven organization. · Supportive work culture emphasizing collaboration and work-life balance.
