As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a dynamic team responsible for building scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems that power high-performance financial platforms. You will design and implement features across multiple services, improve system reliability, and ensure smooth production operations. Accountabilities In this role, you will: Take ownership of backend services, designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure systems. Ship new features, quality-of-life improvements, and performance optimizations across services. Lead medium- to large-scope projects, including API contracts, integrations, and reliability enhancements. Improve observability through logging, tracing, dashboards, and monitoring, ensuring high system reliability. Mentor peers and contribute to technical decision-making, design reviews, and documentation. Partner with product, compliance, and cross-functional teams to implement pragmatic, regulation-aware solutions. Drive multi-service initiatives that enhance system simplicity, velocity, and maintainability. Candidates should have: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with significant backend focus. Expertise in Go, TypeScript/Node.js, and familiarity with Rust is a plus. Experience with building and maintaining APIs (gRPC, REST, GraphQL/tRPC). Strong understanding of databases, asynchronous processing, and workflow systems (Postgres, Redis, Kafka, Temporal). Knowledge of containerized environments, cloud platforms (AWS), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and incident management tools (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry). Ability to design reliable, high-throughput systems with strong audit trails and robust error handling. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills in a fast-moving environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with secure key management, hardware-backed isolation (e.g., Nitro Enclaves). Exposure to high-performance financial systems, stablecoin platforms, or blockchain-related services. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-service initiatives and mentor team members.
