This role leads complex tax engagements for business entities, providing both compliance and strategic advisory services. You will manage multi-state and global client portfolios, ensuring accurate tax filings and supporting planning initiatives. The position requires mentoring and coaching junior associates, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize client outcomes. Provide compliance and consulting services, ensuring deadlines, filings, and tax reporting are accurate. Analyze partnership agreements, special allocations, §704(c) property, §704(b) revaluation adjustments, and §754 elections. Manage client relationships and communications, serving as the primary technical advisor. Mentor and coach junior associates to support professional development and team growth. Collaborate with teams on business acquisitions, sales, and other complex transactions. Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and accuracy in all deliverables. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience at a public accounting firm (Big 4, national, regional, or large local firm). Experience serving C-Corp entities, multistate partnerships, and handling FASB ASC 740 matters. Strong knowledge of partnership allocations, tax elections, and multi-state tax compliance. CPA certification required; advanced degree in taxation preferred. Excellent research, analytical, project management, and communication skills. Experience with business acquisitions and sales is highly desirable. Ability to mentor and guide junior staff effectively while managing multiple client engagements.
