This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a System Analyst 3 in the United States. As a System Analyst 3, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs and technical solutions. You will analyze current business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate complex requirements into actionable system designs. Collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, you will document user needs, create data models, and write detailed Epics and User Stories to guide development and QA efforts. Your work will directly impact system efficiency, data quality, and business decision-making, in a dynamic, hybrid work environment. This role demands strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams. Accountabilities Analyze business objectives and current processes to identify challenges and opportunities for system improvements. Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements through Epics and User Stories with acceptance criteria. Document current state processes, data flows, and system capabilities, including data dictionaries, BRDs, and data mapping specifications. Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical teams to ensure system designs align with business objectives. Design and present visual data models and dashboards to communicate trends, performance, and project timelines. Lead data-focused meetings and workshops, capturing outcomes and driving resolution of issues. Support the development and enhancement of data workflows, management processes, and system functionalities. Minimum 10 years of experience as a business data analyst or system analyst in IT. Proven experience analyzing complex data-driven business problems and recommending actionable solutions. Skilled in designing and optimizing data workflows, modeling tools, and data management processes. Expertise in writing Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria for development and QA teams. Experience creating data-related documentation and visual dashboards for performance tracking. Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and workshops. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Analytics (or equivalent experience). Preferred: Multi-tasking abilities to manage multiple data projects simultaneously.
