Accountabilities: Own the short-term and long-term technical vision for your engineering squad. Lead major technical decisions while empowering your team to contribute and innovate. Mentor engineers on best practices, architecture, and coding standards. Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and provide guidance to improve quality and efficiency. Share technical knowledge through presentations, blog posts, or internal tech talks. Collaborate effectively with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to align on priorities and requirements. Contribute as a hands-on individual contributor while guiding the technical strategy of your squad. Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and practices to drive team effectiveness. Equivalent of 8+ years in senior engineering roles designing APIs, abstractions, and tools used by other engineers. 15+ years of industry experience in software development. Expert-level knowledge of the Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET) and SQL databases. Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and familiarity with TypeScript and React is a plus. Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, and performance monitoring. Strong communication, technical writing, and interpersonal skills. B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field. Demonstrated ability to balance rapid development cycles with high-quality outputs. Proven capability to lead technical teams, influence decisions, and mentor engineers effectively.
