As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in front-end development, you will drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge cloud-based developer environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to create scalable, performant, and accessible interfaces that thousands of developers rely on daily. Your work will influence both enterprise features and core technology advancements, while helping shape the architecture and tooling around front-end systems. You will play a key role in building the tools that accelerate software development at scale. Accountabilities In this role, you will: Lead the development and architecture of front-end systems, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and performant solutions. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into elegant and user-centric interfaces. Build and showcase UI components using tools such as TypeScript, React, Vite, Jest, Storybook, and Material-UI. Maintain high standards of code quality through reviews, mentorship, and knowledge sharing. Ensure front-end systems meet accessibility, performance, and security standards. Continuously improve developer workflows, architecture, and tooling to support enterprise-grade cloud environments. Engage with peers to foster a culture of learning, innovation, and technical excellence. Candidates should have: 8+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong focus on front-end technologies. Expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern front-end frameworks. Solid understanding of back-end architecture and how front-end systems integrate with APIs and enterprise services. Proven experience in building well-structured, tested, and documented code. Strong collaboration, mentorship, and communication skills to guide fellow engineers and cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, or other infrastructure technologies. Knowledge of Go or enterprise developer tools. Familiarity with Linux, WireGuard, or Tailscale. Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience working on enterprise applications or developer-focused tools. Web-based portfolio or demonstrable project work is a plus.
