This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer - AI in the United States. This role offers the chance to shape the mobile strategy for AI-enabled mental health care experiences. As a Staff Mobile Engineer, you will design and build iOS and Android applications from the ground up, establishing the technical foundation, coding standards, and best practices for the mobile team. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to launch patient-facing features that make therapy more accessible and personalized. This position allows you to have immediate impact, guide mobile architecture decisions, and mentor other engineers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on mental health innovation. Accountabilities · Lead the development of production-grade iOS and Android mobile applications using React Native. · Define mobile architecture, coding standards, and best practices for new applications. · Collaborate with product and design teams to launch patient-facing features from concept to production. · Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and shared mobile infrastructure. · Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering technical excellence and scalability. · Drive mobile strategy and provide input on platform decisions to support long-term growth. Requirements · 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in professional mobile development. · 3+ years of experience with React Native. · Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) modules. · Proven track record shipping end-to-end production mobile applications. · Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps. · Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally in product-focused teams. · Preferred: experience as a founding or early engineer at a high-growth startup. · Preferred: experience mentoring engineers, scaling a mobile org, or building 0→1 mobile products.
