This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Software Engineer, Infrastructure in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to join a global team responsible for building and maintaining a highly available cloud platform at massive scale. You will design and implement critical infrastructure tools, APIs, and user interfaces, ensuring reliable and efficient cloud operations. The position emphasizes collaboration across remote and distributed teams while providing autonomy to innovate and solve complex technical challenges. You will work with modern cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cutting-edge development frameworks, contributing to the scalability, resilience, and observability of the platform. This is ideal for engineers with strong Golang and TypeScript expertise who are passionate about cloud infrastructure, software reliability, and high-quality engineering practices. Accountabilities Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure tools and services to support large-scale operations. Build and operate APIs and user interfaces using Go and TypeScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security. Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and operational efficiency. Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and observability. Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and design decisions to uphold engineering standards. Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development and cloud operations. Extensive experience in Golang software development. Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and building modern SPAs. Experience developing gRPC and RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience operating Linux environments. Proficiency with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cloud-native architectures. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and modern deployment practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across local and remote teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for degree. Bonus: Python development, Kubernetes, and container orchestration experience.
