This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Software Engineer in the United States. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take a leading role in designing, developing, and deploying key features and integrations on a sophisticated healthcare platform. You will contribute directly to improving patient care and operational efficiency for health systems through scalable, high-quality software. This role offers full remote flexibility while requiring occasional in-person onboarding and identity verification. You will work collaboratively in an Agile Scrum environment, mentoring peers, delivering performant and maintainable code, and continuously improving technical processes. The ideal candidate thrives in complex technical environments, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in producing software that has a meaningful impact on end users. \n Accountabilities: Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features and integrations on the healthcare platform. Translate user stories and business requirements into robust technical designs and high-quality code. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, design sessions, and technical discussions within the Scrum team. Mentor junior developers, share best practices, and raise team standards for software quality and performance. Maintain and improve platform architecture, tooling, and deployment pipelines to ensure scalability and reliability. Contribute to on-call support and incident response, approximately once every 3–4 weeks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical deliverables with business objectives. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack application development. Strong knowledge of web fundamentals, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular). Solid grasp of core software principles, including data structures, algorithms, design patterns, testing methodologies, and troubleshooting distributed systems. Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, static code analysis, and Agile processes such as Scrum. Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively with team members. Strong English communication skills for technical discussions, both written and spoken. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and ability to work remotely from Eastern or Central time zones in the continental United States. Occasional travel (1–2 times per year) for meetings and in-person onboarding. Preferred / Nice-to-Haves: Strong backend development experience and Angular (RxJS, NGXS) expertise. Hands-on AWS experience, building and scaling RESTful APIs. Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL and data tooling (Python, AWS Glue).
