This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer (AI) based in United States. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on building scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions. You’ll take ownership of complex engineering initiatives while helping shape architecture and modernization efforts. The role combines hands-on full-stack development with technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work across product, platform, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver solutions that support strong customer and business outcomes. The environment emphasizes engineering quality, operational reliability, continuous improvement, and thoughtful system design. You’ll also apply modern AI development tools and methodologies to improve how software is designed, built, and delivered. This fully remote opportunity is well suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing technical direction. \n Accountabilities Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex software systems and services. Build scalable and maintainable solutions across backend and frontend application layers. Contribute to architecture decisions, system modernization, and technical implementation strategies. Develop and integrate APIs and distributed systems that support reliable application performance. Apply cloud-native development practices and contribute to CI/CD processes and engineering automation. Incorporate AI development tools and methodologies into software engineering workflows and solutions. Partner closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality implementations. Support operational excellence by identifying and addressing reliability, performance, and maintainability challenges. Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and hands-on guidance. Independently lead complex technical initiatives from planning through delivery. Help simplify existing systems and continuously improve engineering practices, software quality, and delivery effectiveness. Requirements 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. Deep hands-on expertise with C#, .NET, .NET Core, and modern application frameworks. Strong experience with React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, and APIs. Demonstrated full-stack engineering experience across frontend and backend systems. Experience developing and operating cloud-native applications. Experience using AI development tools and methodologies in software engineering. Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and CI/CD practices. Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions. Demonstrated ability to independently own and lead complex technical initiatives. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a focus on simplifying and improving systems. Effective communication and collaboration skills across Product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams. Ability and willingness to mentor other engineers through technical coaching and code reviews. Strong focus on engineering quality, production reliability, and continuous improvement. Benefits Annual salary range of $104,148–$177,600, with actual compensation determined by experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors. Fully remote work.
