You will lead the design, development, and delivery of APIs and backend services that support a modern Loan Origination System (LOS), ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. Accountabilities · Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable software solutions using C#/.NET, SQL, and modern frameworks. · Develop custom APIs and configurations for a Loan Origination System (LOS), supporting mortgage processes and integrations. · Contribute to system architecture, data modeling, database migrations, and long-term scalability planning. · Participate in agile ceremonies, driving delivery and collaborating with cross-functional teams. · Apply secure coding practices, static code analysis, and CI/CD principles to maintain high-quality standards. · Automate business processes and optimize system interactions across platforms with minimal guidance. · Support post-implementation efforts, including debugging, vendor coordination, and knowledge transfer. · Communicate technical insights, contribute to technology roadmaps, and mentor team members. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. · Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in team environments. · Strong experience with .NET, C#, node.js, modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), or Python. · Expertise in secure development practices and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity). · Proficiency in system design, SOLID principles, object-oriented programming, and distributed systems. · Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and building deployment pipelines in YAML. · Knowledge of SQL, large datasets, data warehousing, ETL processes, and analytics engines. · Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and test-driven development (TDD). · Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. · Desired: Mortgage domain experience, ICE Encompass integrations, Azure certifications, familiarity with TypeScript, Azure Functions, and machine learning frameworks. · Competitive salary: $138,300–$169,000 (target range), with performance-based incentives. · Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. · Retirement plans including 401(k) and employer-funded options. · Paid time off accrual (up to 160 hours per year) and ten paid holidays. · Flexible work arrangements including remote or hybrid options depending on location. · Opportunities for career growth, mentorship, and hands-on experience with modern technologies. · Inclusive and collaborative work environment focused on innovation and impact.
