This role focuses on architecting, deploying, and optimizing carrier-grade and large enterprise networks with advanced routing and optical technologies. The position involves designing high-performance IP/MPLS and optical networks, leading technical projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver complex infrastructure solutions. You will troubleshoot multi-vendor environments, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to automation and telemetry initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Cisco, Ciena, Arista, Nokia, and Juniper platforms, coupled with strong problem-solving and communication skills. You will also engage in lab validations, proof-of-concepts, and client-facing workshops to ensure solutions align with customer needs. Flexibility for occasional travel and on-call duties is required, supporting a dynamic and fast-paced network environment. \n Accountabilities: • Design, deploy, and maintain high-performance networks across core, edge, and DCI topologies using multi-vendor routing and optical platforms. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues on Cisco ASR/NCS, Arista R series, Nokia 7750, Juniper MX/PTX, Ciena Waveserver/6500, Cisco NCS/Acacia, Nokia 1830, Infinera, and similar platforms. • Lead proof-of-concepts, lab validations, and on-site or remote implementations for infrastructure rollouts. • Collaborate with sales, architects, and clients to define technical solutions aligned to requirements and industry trends. • Mentor junior engineers, contribute to documentation, internal knowledge sharing, and best practice development. • Support automation and telemetry projects using Python, Ansible, Netconf, YANG, gRPC, and other programmable network solutions. • Lead teams on professional services projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. • Maintain advanced vendor certifications and stay current on technology roadmaps and features. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of hands-on experience in carrier-grade or large enterprise network environments. • Deep expertise with Cisco, Ciena, Arista, Nokia, and/or Juniper platforms. • Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF/ISIS, Segment Routing, QoS, and DWDM/ROADM technologies. • Solid background in Optical Transport technologies, including coherent optics, ROADMs, and alien wavelengths. • Industry-recognized certifications preferred (Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIP, Nokia NRS, Ciena Certified Optical Professional, Arista ACE/NSE). • Experience leading technical workshops and effectively communicating with clients and internal teams. • Experience in scripting or automation (Python, Ansible) highly desirable. • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Flexibility to travel up to 30% and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
