This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. IT Systems Analyst in the United States. In this role, you will take a lead position in analyzing, designing, and improving business systems and applications, while serving as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders. You will gather requirements, create user stories, design solutions, and provide guidance to less senior team members, ensuring projects align with organizational goals. This position involves driving strategic initiatives, optimizing system functionality, and supporting the delivery of robust, scalable IT solutions. You will also mentor and influence colleagues, apply cloud and database technologies, and contribute to UI/UX design and process improvements. The role offers the opportunity to shape technology decisions while ensuring compliance and operational excellence. Accountabilities: · Lead the analysis and design of business applications and systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives. · Gather, refine, and document requirements from business stakeholders, creating user stories, STTs, and data mappings. · Mentor, guide, and provide work direction to less senior Systems Analyst team members. · Oversee execution of key strategic initiatives and represent the team in project estimation and architectural reviews. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions using cloud platforms and database technologies. · Create UI/UX designs and screen mock-ups to support system functionality and end-user experience. · Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals and IT strategy. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; HS diploma or GED required. · 5+ years of experience with system requirements analysis and/or supporting key business applications. · Proven experience in leading others, mentoring, and providing work direction. · Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop unbiased technology comparisons and decision criteria. · Proficiency with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, and SQL. · Experience performing UI/UX design and creating screen mock-ups. · Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills.
