This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Full Stack Developer (AI Focus) based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to build secure, scalable, and mission-critical applications supporting complex Federal technology initiatives. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and continuous improvement. The position combines modern application engineering with AI-driven development practices to deliver innovative solutions. You will collaborate with architects, technical leaders, and business stakeholders to transform requirements into reliable software products. Working across .NET, Java, cloud platforms, and modern front-end frameworks, you will help modernize enterprise systems. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex challenges in a collaborative, security-focused environment. \n The Sr. Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and support enterprise applications while contributing to modernization initiatives and delivering secure solutions aligned with Federal technology standards. Develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications and services using modern software development practices and AI-assisted development approaches. Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations across complex technology environments. Build responsive and dynamic front-end applications using Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks. Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliverables. Support modernization efforts by migrating legacy applications toward cloud-native architectures using Azure or AWS. Perform code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to application stability, performance optimization, and operational excellence. Maintain compliance with Federal cybersecurity, quality assurance, and software development standards. Contribute to DevSecOps practices, automation, and engineering process improvements. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong full-stack development expertise, cloud knowledge, and the ability to deliver secure applications in complex enterprise environments. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET (C#) or Java (Spring Boot). Strong front-end development experience with Angular, React, or comparable modern frameworks. Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, and object-oriented applications. Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar database technologies. Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS. Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Experience using Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. Experience with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. U.S. citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing applications within a Federal IT consulting environment. Knowledge of API gateways, message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and enterprise system integrations. Experience with DevSecOps pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and continuous delivery practices. Cloud certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or AWS Developer. Familiarity with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST security compliance standards. Benefits: Competitive salary range of approximately $115,000 - $135,000 USD (depending on experience and qualifications).
