The Sr. External Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of high-impact external communications that elevate brand visibility, reputation, and messaging across commercial and corporate channels. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, coordinating multi-channel campaigns and serving as a key liaison with internal stakeholders, agencies, and media partners. Partner with brand marketing teams to create campaigns that align with annual brand plans and business goals. Lead project management for multi-channel campaigns, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and inputs from internal teams. Collaborate with internal communications to support commercial messaging and employee engagement initiatives. Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media contacts to deliver high-quality communications projects. Conduct market research and monitor media coverage to refine communication strategies and optimize audience targeting. Develop crisis communication plans and act as a primary contact during sensitive situations. Establish KPIs, monitor campaign effectiveness, and leverage insights to improve communications outcomes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Proven experience in corporate communications, brand strategy, or media relations, ideally in a leadership capacity. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Strong project management skills, managing multiple priorities and cross-functional workstreams. Experience managing external agencies and vendors. Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform communication strategies. Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Crisis communication experience is a plus.
