In this role, you will have a substantial impact on the legal architecture that governs data security and privacy. As a leader, you will define legal strategies aligned with rapid growth, acting as a strategic advisor across various departments to implement robust security measures. This is a high-profile opportunity to make a difference in the cybersecurity landscape. \n Accountabilities Develop and execute a global legal strategy for privacy and data security. Lead cross-functional collaboration on privacy aspects of contracts. Provide expert guidance on privacy, security, and compliance matters. Oversee incident management and legal response strategies. Ensure legal requirements are integrated into technical operations. Support the Security, Engineering, and IT teams in compliance initiatives. Requirements 10+ years of legal experience, with 5 years focused on privacy and data security. Strong negotiation skills with experience in commercial contracts. Proven leadership experience in high-growth or SaaS settings. Deep understanding of cloud architecture and data flow. J.D. from an accredited law school with an active license to practice. Knowledge of global privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. Pragmatic mindset prioritizing business enablement while managing risk.
