In this role, you will lead software engineering initiatives supporting regulatory and compliance operations, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of critical reporting and automation workflows. You will manage multiple engineering teams, drive technical strategy, and oversee the development and maintenance of complex data pipelines. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure compliance requirements are met efficiently while mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of innovation. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining operational velocity and accuracy across a growing portfolio of compliance projects. You will influence the technical direction, oversee execution of critical initiatives, and develop talent while contributing to a high-performing, mission-driven environment. Accountabilities: Lead engineering teams focused on automation, compliance workflows, and regulatory reporting pipelines. Oversee development, maintenance, and validation of reporting processes to meet compliance mandates. Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely report delivery. Drive technical strategy for initiatives including file validation, claims processing, and workflow exception handling. Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles to align with compliance deadlines. Mentor and develop engineering talent, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance. Coordinate cross-team efforts, monitor project progress, and resolve technical or operational issues. 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven experience in regulatory or compliance-focused engineering domains. Strong expertise in data pipelines, ETL frameworks, and reporting automation. Familiarity with healthcare data formats (e.g., APCD, CCW, RXRDS) and compliance standards. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. Preferred: experience in healthcare or insurance legal/compliance organizations. Preferred: experience coordinating onshore/offshore teams and exception-based workflows.
