We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented software engineering team across multiple locations. In this role, you will balance hands-on technical guidance with team leadership, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and at the highest quality. Mentor engineers, set clear performance expectations, and support professional development. Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution for software and embedded systems projects. Establish and maintain software development processes, tools, and best practices to drive efficiency and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers, to deliver integrated solutions. Identify opportunities to improve team capabilities, processes, and project outcomes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software and hardware engineering roles, preferably in aerospace, industrial automation, or robotics. 5+ years in progressively responsible software engineering leadership positions. Hands-on experience leading teams in software development and embedded system design. Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC, CI/CD, SecDevOps) and associated toolchains. Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders. Experience managing project risk, including scope creep and technical challenges. Benefits: Competitive salary range of $156,840-$193,820 plus equity incentives.
