Full Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer, Office of the CEO in the United States. This role offers a rare opportunity to work directly with executive leadership to drive high-impact technology initiatives across a complex healthcare ecosystem. You will join a small, interdisciplinary technical staff to design, build, and deploy systems that leverage data, generative AI, and full-stack engineering to improve outcomes and efficiency. This is a hands-on, high-agency role where experimentation, rapid prototyping, and pragmatic decision-making are essential. You will influence strategic decisions, scale new systems from zero to production, and collaborate across engineering, product, and data teams. Candidates will thrive in environments of ambiguity, enjoy solving high-impact problems, and are motivated by seeing their work tangibly affect the business. Prior healthcare experience is not required—curiosity, technical excellence, and problem-solving drive success. Accountabilities: · Build end-to-end systems from concept to production, spanning backend infrastructure, data pipelines, machine learning, and user interfaces. · Prototype and validate new ideas using generative AI and data-driven approaches. · Design scalable and maintainable solutions that form the foundation for long-term technical systems. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, learning from historical system implementations and shared best practices. · Deliver high-value projects in line with executive priorities and measurable business outcomes. · Participate in experimentation and iterative improvements, enhancing reliability and performance of systems. · Contribute to a culture of learning, mentorship, and collaboration within a small, elite technical team. · Demonstrated experience building and shipping software systems across web, data, mobile, ML, or desktop applications. · Strong knowledge of data systems, including relational databases, data modeling, data warehousing, and data processing. · Practical engineering mindset with focus on business impact and scalable solutions. · Experience experimenting with or building systems leveraging generative AI or advanced ML approaches. · Excellent collaboration, humility, and adaptability; able to thrive in dynamic environments. · Effective communication skills, comfortable working directly with leadership and cross-disciplinary teams. · Preferred: San Francisco Bay Area residency or ability to work in-person 1-2 days per week; prior experience in high-impact startups is a plus. · Competitive base salary, equity opportunities, and performance-based bonus program. · 401(k) matching and regular compensation reviews. · Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. · Flexible time-off policy, remote-first culture, and initiatives supporting mental health and well-being. · Professional development programs, mentorship, and learning opportunities. · Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) at discounted rates. · Reimbursement for home office setup, monthly stipends for cell phone and internet. · Paid parental leave and support for all new parents.
