This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer, Frontend - Developer Experience in the United States. This role provides the opportunity to enhance the developer experience for a high-performing engineering organization, building tools and interfaces that empower internal teams to work more efficiently. You will focus on the frontend development of an Internal Developer Platform, creating intuitive, reliable, and performant web applications used daily by hundreds of engineers. The position allows you to collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers, contributing to both the platform’s architecture and the broader internal tooling ecosystem. You will also mentor peers, influence product roadmap decisions, and ensure accessibility, usability, and reliability standards are met. The role is ideal for engineers passionate about building developer-focused products that scale and evolve with organizational needs. Accountabilities: As a Frontend Engineer in the Developer Experience team, you will be responsible for: Owning the frontend development of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), including components, pages, and user workflows. Collaborating with backend engineers, product designers, and API publishers to deliver seamless, data-rich experiences. Building and maintaining React components and pages integrated with internal infrastructure systems such as pipelines, asset management, and monitoring tools. Improving accessibility, performance, and reliability across the IDP user interface. Contributing to internal frontend libraries and design systems to standardize development practices. Mentoring team members and promoting coding standards and frontend best practices. The ideal candidate will have: 2+ years of experience building modern web applications using React or similar component-based frameworks. Proven experience shipping user-facing features with high-quality, well-tested code. Familiarity with frontend architecture best practices, including performance, usability, and security. Experience collaborating with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout the product lifecycle. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Nice to have: experience building products from 0 to 1, working in fast-growing startups, and knowledge of Golang, GraphQL, Docker, or NoSQL databases. This role offers: Competitive salary range: $152,405—$179,300 USD, plus bonus and equity eligibility.
